The girls got to participate in VBS for the first time and had a blast. They met some new friends and learned some new songs. Every night they would tell us the new thing they learned. They were especially effected by Chadder the Chipmunk.

Chadder provides some sort of turmoil at our house every year. The first year it was because we had to miss one day of VBS and she was so upset that she couldn't find out what happened that day, last year it was nightmares about Chadder and his brief incarceration, and this year she worried about the mad scientist and what he was going to do to Chadder.
Maybe next year we can just jump straight to Bible Stories from Pennywise, the clown from "It".
