The girls got to participate in VBS for the first time and had a blast. They met some new friends and learned some new songs. Every night they would tell us the new thing they learned. They were especially effected by Chadder the Chipmunk.

Hide the scissors
They decided they wanted to cut each others hair AGAIN. As you can see, Tae's is just a little uneven, but Mak really got the poor end of the is deal. They were suppose to be in the playroom/craft room cleaning up their mess before bed on Sunday. Mak comes out for something and as she dashes around the corner, I took a quick look at here head. It looked strange so I called her back. Sure enough, she had a spike on the top of her head. I am not kidding; she has hair on the top of her head that is no more than one inch tall. I couldn't help myself. I just laughed. I wasn't going to fix it, but I couldn't help myself after a few days. She now has a boy cut and I evened out Tae's too. Hers is a bit shorter than I anticipated. Oh well, hair grows out. I am just glad all eyes and ears are in tact. If you have young girls, hide the scissors!
Berry Fun!
We went out to King's orchard to pick berries. The girls loved eating the berries, but they were okay with everyone else picking the crop for them, especially their friend, Zachary. He was very gentlemanly about the whole thing. They preferred eating and feeding Luke. The girls acted so nicely all morning the hot sun, we stopped for ice cream on the way home.
